Enliven Fitness takes on the Blackmores Running Festival

You know those people who always get involved? Constantly entering fun runs or hikes or team challenges? Raising money, keeping fit and pushing their limits? They’re the embodiment of Nike: just doing it. And we want to be more like them.

 

(Not only because they get tagged on Facebook doing badass things in lycra).

 

Participating in events gives you an opportunity to test your mettle, conquer your fears and have fun in the process. You never know how fast you can run 9kms until you’ve done it fuelled by friends & adrenalin. Prepare to be surprised, and proud!

 

That’s why we want you to tackle the Blackmores Running Festival. But not alone, with Enliven!

 

What is it?

 

A glorious Springtime fun run with a distance for everybody. (And as an added bonus, they all lead you straight over the harbour bridge. Conquer Sydney’s #1 icon. No biggie).

 

Event Details

 

Blackmores Running Festival

 

Options: Choose between 3.5km, 9km, Half marathon & Full marathon.

 

Price: $40 - $135 early bird (up until 31st July); $50- $155 after this date

 

When?: Sunday 20th September

 

Time: Between 6.15am and 9am depending on event

 

Location: Start at Milsons Point, finish at the Opera House

 

Breakfast: Of course! Join us for brekkie at the Opera House after the event. It will be booked for 10.30 to give everyone time to finish their respective runs.

 

Which run to enter?

 

- 3.5km Family Fun Run - suitable for all ages, children and prams.

- 9km Bridge Run - great for everyone, whether it’s your first time or you're a solid veteran. For all levels.

- Half Marathon - 21.1km. Suitable if you’ve done a few shorter runs and want to take it to the next level

- Marathon - 42.2km. Suitable if you’ve done a couple of half marathons, a few longer runs and want to tick a big item off your bucket list!

 

When do I have to register by?

 

Early bird ends 31st July. After that you can register right until the day before (Saturday 19th September)
